Originally from Chicago, Janet brings the windy city flair to the west coast. In addition to her theater degree from Columbia College, she has studied with Steppenwolf's Jeff Perry (aka Cyrus from Scandal) and with Chicago's famous Second City theater.

TV credits include Oscar winner John Ridley's critically acclaimed American Crime and ABC's Castle.  Film credits include a starring role in How Does It Feel,  a Cannes Film Festival selection, and Divorce Lemonade,  a Sundance Film Festival Selection.

She is a SAG-AFTRA member with chameleon-like abilities and an uncanny aptitude for accents and dialects. This talent has been her source of inspiration for creating multiple intriguing characters.

A natural born dancer, Janet has been known to bust out her Salsa, Modern, and Social Ballroom skills in the most unlikely of places.
